Q:
Does it come with the correct blade to cut engineered laminate flooring?
A:
Yes it does. But
if your cutting a lot of flooring,
we suggest getting extra blades because engineered flooring is a little hard on blades (others buy a Freud blader
that is thinner and cuts smoother..)
Remember to cut at and even pace not too fast not too slow, As an added tip depending on the wood you have do a few test cuts, for certain types, you have to turn the wood upside down and cut it - that way it helps certain types from splintering.
Q:
What would it need to be able to hood vacuum up to it rather then using the bag?
A:
Since the small bag itself does not catch much when cutting a lot of flooring with this saw, you can try laying 4 mill plastic under and up 2 sides of the saw using zip wall poles. Or you can use tape to hold up your plastic. You can use a small wet dry vac instead of the bag but the hose from the vacuum just gets in the way. Please note that the vacuum has to have the right size connection to fit the dust port.
